Highland Harmony is a Barbershop Chorus, based in Dunedin since 1998. We are a friendly local group of people of all ages who meet weekly to share a mutual love of 4 part a cappella singing and to enjoy great fellowship and camaraderie. We perform regularly in the local community and also compete nationally at the Barbershop Harmony New Zealand annual conventions. Highland Harmony were the gold medal winning Small Chorus at the BHNZ National Convention in Blenheim in 2016.
Highland Harmony performs musical styles varying from traditional barbershop songs to more contemporary pop classics by the Beach Boys, Six 60, the Beatles and Billy Joel.

You are more tha welcome to join us at our rehearsals. Why not come along and try out the experience for yourself. There is no requirement to read music, although having a good ear for music is very useful. It's not as hard as you may think.
Our regular weekly rehearsals are every Monday evening, from 7-15pm to 9-30pm, at St Patrick's Community Hall (next to the Basilica), 32 Macandrew Road in Dunedin.
